Registration
How do I get my tax credit receipt?
 Click on "register here" and enter your login and password - the one you registered your player with. All receipts are at the top of the page.
I forgot my login, what do I do?
 Try using your email address and the password that you think might be correct, if it is incorrect you can click where it says I forgot my ID/password and our system will email your id and password to the email address you provided us the first time you signed up.

If your email address has changed since you last registered, email the registrar at soccer@westvanfc.com
Is there any help for those who need financial assistance?
 The club is able to provide financial assistance for reasonable requests through our registration fees. A request for assistance may also be made either through KidSport www.sport.bc.ca or through Athletics for Kids www.a4k.ca
How do I send a copy of my son/daughter's birth certificate if I register online?

Who assigns referees to games?
 The NSYSA oversees the assigning of all referees to our home games. Questions can go to Aria Shokoohi: nsysarefassignor@gmail.com.
What do I do about a referee "no show"

What do I do if my team is on the field and there is thunder and lightning.
 Please get your players off the field as quickly as possible and into shelter. Do not stand under trees or if at Ambleside D or E get as far away from the light standards as possible.
Does the Club have a Grievance Process?
 Yes it does. If you have have a grievance of any kind please contact soccer@westvanfc.com We will make sure your grievance is forwarded to the correct person and that you receive a response in a timely manner.
Where can I find contact info for teams in other Clubs.
 Team contacts involved in the BCCSL will have their contact information posted on the schedules page for their teams, and all clubs should have their own websites and list their team contacts.

How do I find out if a home game has been moved due to inclement weather?
 Go to https://westvancouver.ca/parksrecreation/field-conditions Field unplayable on the day? Move to alternate and leave a parent at the field to re-direct other team and referee.
Who do I contact to let a referee know that a game has been cancelled or moved?
 Contact nsysarefassignor@gmail.com as soon as possible.
I frequently only have 9 or 10 players for a 11-aside game - how can I get more players for the game when I have sickness/injury issues?
 Players can play for another team that is the same level or lower e.g a Div 2 team can borrow from a Div 3 team at the same age level or a Div 2 or 3 team at a lower age group. Always contact the coach of the team you are borrowing from to confirm it's ok. If the team you are borrowing from has photo id, the player must bring the card with him or her. Contact the registrar to see if there are players on the waitlist registrar@westvansoccer.com
