West Van Soccer Club has a long tradition of excellence. Since it's beginnings in 1912, the Club has been involved in the promotion, organization, and development of soccer at the youth level in the Municipality of West Vancouver.

The ideal of the Club is to provide for participation by all who wish to play soccer at the level of their individual ability.

Dear WVSC Players, Alumni and Families,

Hard to believe we are finished playing the first half of 2010/2011 soccer season!

Thanks to everyone for being so flexible with the loss of field 'A' while it is under construction. It doesn't seem to have effected the spirit of any of our teams, and we seem to be getting some great results across the board. The year 2010 is coming to a close, and the WVSC is pushing full speed ahead!

I am sure you've noticed the recent progress down at Ambleside; the new turf field on A is well under way, and construction on the field house has also begun. In the midst of watching two of the greatest sporting events in the world, the Olympics and the World Cup, our club has been hard at work fundraising for the project over the last year. Thanks to all who have contributed already. But there is still more to do. The club has committed to raising $200,000 for its share of the fundraising, and we need to do it before the spring. If you can, we'd love to have any support that you are able to give. This is a real community effort, and our club and players will reap the rewards. Once the new turf on 'A' is completed, our club will have full use of the turf on 'D'. And the field house will be accessible and a great home base for everyone. This is a wonderful initiative in our community, and we all need to work together to make it happen for our current players and all those in future generations.
