Warm ups

U10 Warmup

Youth soccer players can be distracted when warming up, so it helps to make warm-ups fun and interesting.
Exercises can be done with or without a ball. Besides getting the body and mind ready to play, try to improve their balance, coordination and agility. Rhythmic movement should be a part of every warm-up.
This warm-up includes some basic movement as well as engaging/activating the brain.
Warm-up activities for an attacking themed session.
Focuses on passing and receiving.

Change of speed and direction.
A range of footwork skills that players can develop at the U10 age level.
Dribbling Skills Corridor. Getting the players comfortable while running with the ball.
An attacking activity that can start as a 3v2 and progress into a 3v3 with a trailing defender.
Small-sided possession w/ progression into a transition.

Finishing

This video helps you understand the importance of movement and being in the right angle to receive a pass, improve your awareness of teammates and opposition and make the right decisions at the right time - when to receive and when to pass.
1 team is attacking and 1 team is defending. If you score on the goal you keep possessions and attack again. If the defending team wins the ball and successfully dribbles through 1 of the 2 gates, they now become the attacking team.
