Registration for the Sept 2021/ Feb 2022 season

Registration for 2021/2022 season begins on Feb 15 2021. The soccer season runs from September to the end of February 2022.

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER HERE FOR SPRING APRIL TO JUNE - SCROLL DOWN TO SPRING PROGRAMS

There is one game at the weekend and a minimum of one practice with the team coach per week. 

Girls teams play on Sundays and Boys teams on Saturdays. 

Our youngest players boys and girls play on Saturdays in the Street Soccer program at Ambleside Fred Jopson field (2017, 2016 and 2015 birthdates)

  • OUR PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT IS BY CREDIT CARD. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO PURCHASE A PREPAID VISA OR MASTERCARD. 
  • IF YOU CHOOSE TO PAY BY CHEQUE IN FULL, PLEASE MAIL THE CHEQUE TO THE MAILBOX OR DROP OFF THE CHEQUE  TO 1385 19th Street WV  (BASKET BY DOOR) WITHIN 7 DAYS. IF NOT PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS  YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE CANCELLED. Cheques must be made out to WVFC
  • iF CHOOSING THE CHEQUE PAYMENT OPTION, AND APPLYING FOR A GRANT, YOU MUST PAY THE $100 DEPOSIT ($200 FOR MSL PLAYERS) FOR EACH PLAYER REGISTERED. 
  • IF CHOOSING TO PAY BY CHEQUE IN iNSTALLMENTS, THE DEPOSIT CHEQUE IS DUE IMMEDIATELY AND THE SUBSEQUENT INSTALLMENTS ARE DUE ON AUG 15 AND SEPT 15. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED AT THE BEGINNING OF AUG FOR THE SECOND PAYMENT
  • We have a new option when paying by credit card. You will have the choice of paying by installments. A deposit will  be paid when registering and further payments will be taken at intervals. All details are on the payment section of the registration form and vary by age group and level of play. The installment plan option expires on Aug 14

Possible Paid Coaching for U13 - U18 Teams

Players placed onto a Div 1 or Div 2 team at U13-U18 may have a professional coach.  If this is the case, players will be asked to contribute an extra fee for the coach's salary.

Athletics for Kids
 
A4K (Athletics for Kids) is a North Shore organization that was set up so that all children regardless of financial constraints of parents or guardians, should be able to participate in organised amateur sports. For Information and applications visit the A4K website at www.a4k.ca

Kidsport
 
Kidsport is a national organisation which assists children by overcoming financial barriers which prevent or limit their participation in organized sports. We are lucky to have a local chapter here on the North Shore. Their application form is very simple and does not require detailed financial scrutiny. Jumpstart

When families need a little financial boost to get kids involved in a sport, they need to fill out an application. This needs to be done before the fees are due, as the money goes right to the organization. Applications for assistance can typically be submitted from January 15 to November 1; with the goal for funding to be equitably distributed over Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter activities.


For those requesting financial assistance please register using Online Registration and follow these steps:

  • Choose Cheque as the payment method. Do not pay by credit card or send in a cheque hoping for reimbursement. 
  • Drop off a deposit ck for $100 to 1385 19th Street (basket by door) for each child. Cheques should be  made out to WVFC . The $100 will cover our fixed costs for your player.
  • Enter in the Payment Notes field: application for funding through A4K, Kidsport or Jumpstart.
