BC Amateur Sport Fund supporting West Van FC Sports Bubble

BC Amateur Sport Fund has partnered with West Vancouver Football Club (WVFC) in support of their Paul Myers Athletic Centre capital project.  Paul Myers has graciously donated $3M to the construction and completion of the club’s sports bubble.  Your gift to this fund will support the construction and completion of the outdoor warm-up turf and a washroom building.  Players, staff, and parents will be using portable toilets until we have the funds to complete the washroom building.

West Van FC knows that soccer is supposed to be fun, and cold wet kids (and parents) are more likely to quit soccer.  The Paul Myers Athletic Centre will provide a facility where kids can comfortably focus on the game throughout the year. This includes providing a warm, dry space for the club’s Adaptive Soccer Program for neurodivergent players who will thrive indoors.  Your gift will help get this project past the finish line and will aid in expanding participation and retaining those players at risk of dropping out due to training and playing in poor conditions.
